About the Role
This is a generalist position working across acute, community and aged care spaces. As a senior clinician within the team this role will involve supervisory and leadership roles hence experience in this area will be considered favourable. The caseload will predominantly consist of paediatrics.
Duties
- Supervisory/Supporting the team
- Provide acute care nutrition services to CGH across the Wellington Shire
- Community based service potentially including a caseload of complex adults, general paediatrics including (but not limited to) eating disorders, Type 1 Diabetes clinics, allergies and feeding clinics
- Assist the Dietetics Manager in undertaking food service tasks including menu review, food service staff training and food service quality activities
About You
- Bachelor of Science plus Post Graduate Diploma of Dietetics OR Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics OR appropriate undergraduate equivalen
- Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and active participation in the APD program
- Passion and drive for progressing rural Dietetics
- Proven experience in a clinical specialty area such as Type 1 Diabetes – multidisciplinary clinic and individual support provision to the community, Eating disorders, Paediatric nutrition,
- Experience in completing quality improvement projects and processes
- Proven student and staff/personnel supervision experience, especially in the dietetic field
